Maxine has extensive experience in employment, industrial and discrimination law. Before coming to the Bar, she was a senior lawyer at the Victorian Ambulance Union and a discrimination lawyer at Victoria Legal Aid.
In 2019-2020, Maxine was the Associate to the Honourable Justice Bromberg at the Federal Court of Australia.
Maxine commenced her career at the Commonwealth Attorney-General’s Department where she worked on native title, administrative and international law.
Maxine holds a Master of Laws from New York University and a First Class Honours degree in Law from Monash University.
Maxine is reading with Eugenia Levine and her senior mentor is Jenny Firkin KC.
