Kathryn practises in commercial law and public law. She has a particular interest in complex and strategic litigation.

Before coming to the Bar, Kathryn was a senior associate in the class actions department at Slater and Gordon. Kathryn worked on shareholder, consumer and common law class actions. From 2021 to 2024, Kathryn worked on the Allen v G8 Education class action, the first Australian proceeding in which contingency fees were ordered and approved (pursuant to a group costs order).

Before practising as a solicitor, Kathryn was an associate at the Supreme Court of Victoria, first to the Honourable Justice Croft AM (2018 to 2019) and then to the Honourable Justice Nichols (2019 to 2020). As an associate, Kathryn assisted on commercial, corporations, contractual and property disputes, class actions, tax appeals and arbitration-related matters.

Kathryn is reading with Raini Zambelli. Her senior mentor is Fiona Forsyth KC.
