Jarrod generally appears in commercial matters in the Supreme Court of Victoria, the Federal Court of Australia and the County Court of Victoria. He is experienced in acting and advising on complex contractual disputes, actions for misleading and deceptive or unconscionable conduct, corporations law issues (including shareholder oppression, directors' duties, disclosure obligations), insurance (including professional liability and directors and officers liability) and class actions. Jarrod has also represented clients in arbitrations, tribunals and commissions of inquiry.
Jarrod is also a nationally accredited mediator and accepts briefs to mediate corporate and commercial disputes. He is passionate about assisting parties to identify and negotiate mutually beneficial alternatives to judicial determination.
Before joining the Bar, Jarrod was a senior associate in the commercial litigation team at Herbert Smith Freehills.
