Dan Miles practises in commercial law, public law and revenue law.

He is a specialist in state and federal taxes. 

Prior to joining the Bar, Dan was a Senior Associate in the tax group at Herbert Smith Freehills.  In this role he advised on employment taxes for domestic and international employers, stamp duty and tax aspects of restructures and acquisitions.  He was also an Associate to the Honourable Justice Almond at the Supreme Court of Victoria.

Dan holds a Master of Laws from the University of Melbourne.

Dan is reading with Nasos Kaskani and his senior mentor is Catherine Pierce SC.
